The SATO Healthcare ID Solutions™ system comprises of a computer based ordering system, printers and labels, to handy portable terminals. This system works together in many different situations to help hospitals and healthcare providers improve precision and increase productivity.

Medical staff can easily and efficiently match patients to treatment by scanning the patients’ wristbands and bedside labels to obtain their data which helps to improve accuracy, whether in the operating theatre, inspection room, general wards and even the pharmacy.

SATO’s Quality Wristband:
The SATO wristbands are virtually indestructible because SATO uses a special label material (designed to withstand the extremes without the print or the material deteriorating) for its wristbands. These wristbands are smudge free, waterproof and do not dirty easily; which makes it perfect for use in the medical environment as they remain legible even after exposure to water and everyday wear. This wristband is available in both adult and paediatric size. The ones used for paediatric are made of a material called polyethylene which is softer and gentler on the skin and most suitable for babies, children and those with sensitive skin.
